I’m sorry I didn’t let you read the end to this short story, but I really thought that those who were interested in knowing , would try to find out what happened to this couple. Now you can read the original story from which I took the key words you used in your writing.

To be able to tell stories like this in English you’ll have to use past forms effectively. I recommend these links to study and practise more on past tenses:
